North Beach - Original Acrylic Painting by Marcy Brennan

North Beach - Acrylic on 11"x14" paper - $80

This is one of the favorite beaches in our area of the locals.  I took the photo reference a long time ago, and finally got around to painting it.  The waters in our area are as gorgeous as the Caribbean!

You can purchase the original painting in my Etsy shop here.

Blue Sky Morning Plein Air Oil Painting of Savannas Recreation Area by Marcy Brennan

Blue Sky Morning Plein Air Oil Painting of Savannas Recreation Area by Marcy Brennan

10"x8" oil on canvas panel - $150

I painted this painting with our plein air group in early October 2014 at the Savannas Recreation Area in Fort Pierce.  I began in the shade for a short time and ended up facing the sun most of the time.  But I must say, painting in the hot sun and fresh air is still more fun than working, even if it's in an air conditioned office!

Just as I was finished, a kayaker showed up.  I got a photo and that's a painting for another day.  ;-)
