Arroyo Seco Village by Marcy Brennan

Oil on 8" x 8" canvas panel

This is the third photo challenge by Dee Sanchez on her blog, Let's Paint New Mexico!  It's from the photo she posted of a little village just outside of Taos called Arroyo Seco, which means dry creek.  I loved the busy photo chock full of cool things like tin-roofed adobe buildings, signs, flower pots, hollyhocks, mountains and of course the brilliant New Mexico sky.  This was a fun one to paint!
