12" x 12" acrylic on gallery canvas - ready to hang with or without frame
I couldn't wait to paint this stunning entrance scene to Lettuce Lake, a beautiful park in north Tampa, FL. I was over in Tampa for my brother's birthday in February this year, and the azaleas were blooming in full force! I normally paint in oils, but I had all the right colors left on my stay-wet palette from my Paradise in a Nutshell painting and this painting just flowed so wonderfully. My style is a bit more abstract-y in acrylics than oils and I really like the way this turned out. Hope you do too ;-)
